A few months ago, Infinix introduced the Hot 7 which is the most recent member in its strategic Hot product line for the brand. While the Hot 7 device didn’t surprise us much with it tech specs and features, the newly launched Infinix Hot 7 Pro has been able to correct the “7timeshot” which it standard failed to deliver.
The Infinix Hot 7 Pro has just been launched in India and it comes with great specs and features at a relatively cheap price. Hot 7 Pro features closely similar specs and features with the Infinix Hot S4 that launched in April and has got me thinking of making a comparison to highlight the differences between these two devices.
After the launch of the Hot S4 in April, Infinix also teased a five camera smartphone which is yet to launch and there have been no details about the device. While we’re still waiting for the company to launch this device which is expected to be a flagship device, the company has decided to give the Hot 7 a sequel.

Where to buy Infinix Hot 7 Pro
Now that we’ve seen the highlights, let’s meet the Infinix Hot 7 Pro device.
Design And Display
Infinix HOT 7 Pro launches with a 6.19-inch HD+ notch screen, the notch, however, has been shrunk a bit to give more display areas on the screen while keeping an aesthetic appearance.
The device has a total of four cameras, two rear and two front-facing cameras, both accompanied with an LED flash. There’s a rounded square shape fingerprint sensor on the back of the device at its usual spot, volume and power button are sited on the right side of the device while the sim/memory tray is just above it.
The top of the device is clean, however, you’ll find the 3.5mm headphone jack and a stereo speaker coupled with a Dirac Stereo Widening technology at the bottom of the device.
The device will be available in Midnight Black, Mocha Brown, Bordeaux Red and Aqua Blue.
Camera And Features
Infinix Hot 7 features a dual camera setup on the front and rear. It houses a 13MP main camera assisted with a 2MP sensor to capture depth details in portrait mode for both camera setup.
Hot 7 Pro camera comes with features like AR, Portrait, Bokeh, HDR and many other features you’ll find in a modern Android device.
The front camera also integrates the Face ID technology for additional security. The device camera is pretty cool if you’re a photo lover looking for a good performance device which can as well take great photos.
Hardware And Software
The standard Hot 7 launched with 2GB of RAM and it wasn’t really impressive because the company also launched a 3GB version Hot 6 which actually is better when compared to the Hot 7. However, Infinix has made the Hot 7 Pro much better by giving it a RAM boost to 6GB.
The Infinix Hot 7 Pro is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 12nm Octa-Core SoC and with the 6GB RAM, you’ll enjoy seamless multitasking. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie with XOS 5.0 out of the box.
Hot 7 Pro comes with an inbuilt 64GB storage and can further be expanded to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The Infinix Hot 7 Pro also comes in two other storage variant, 2GB and 3GB RAM version of the Hot 7 Pro with 32GB storage.
The Hot 7 Pro houses a 4000mAh battery and it comes with quick charge technology.
