If you enjoy playing multiplayer games like Call of Duty: Mobile, Activision has announced a championship tournament in partner with Sony Mobile where you can play and win cash prizes worth $1 Million.
Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 is a global tournament which means just anyone can play. The tournament, however, requires players with Veteran rank or above to participate.
“We are very excited to launch our highly-anticipated competitive tournament in Call of Duty: Mobile. As the next-evolution in our fan-favourite Ranked Play, this tournament format gives eligible Call of Duty: Mobile players a chance to compete with players from around the world for cash and prizes.” Chris Plummer, Vice President of Mobile at Activision.
The tournament consists of two stages. In the first stage, players will receive registration rewards and have to battle against each and win enough points to qualify for the next stage of the tournament. Players will continue to receive in-game rewards in this stage and additional reward if qualifies to the next stage.
Players who make it to the second Stage 2 will receive cash rewards for wins in every match and other in-game rewards. In this stage, players will need to form a team with other players and play against other teams for more cash prizes.
As you may have already guessed, the joining the tournament comes with some specific rules that you have to follow so you don’t get disqualified. Players cannot play with desktop emulators, any external device or attachment like Bluetooth controllers, mouse, and keyboard, it’s just your Mobile phone.
The tournament will start on April 30 and end on May 24. Visit Call of Duty: Mobile Esports page to get started and subscribe to receive more interesting updates on Techzbytes!
