Download and Install Official Gapps for Lineage OS 15

With the release of Android Oreo 8.0, Lineage will soon be announcing its OS 15. In turn, the official links for Gapps will be soon released. Gmail, Google+, Google Drive, Google Market/ Play Store, Google Music, Google Docs, Google Earth, Google Search, YouTube, and so on are the Gapps which you’ll be needing most.

The predication of Lineage will be available on the source code of Android 8.0. The Cyanogen Mod is the hottest OS of recent years which, currently known as Lineage OS. It is one of the best custom ROM available on the market and allows you to get a like stock ROM appearance, with no bloat ware that could slow down your device. Which in turn makes it the fastest custom-made ROM available for your device.

But how do you install Gapps on Lineage OS 15? Just follow the steps below and you’ll have the job done in no time:

1. First up, you’llneed to have a frozen device and install a custom recovery model, like TWRP or CWM.
2. Before you attempt to install the Gapps on your device, make sure you have the Lineage OS 15 custom ROM properly installed on your phone and in good working condition.
3. Download the package of Gapps that suits your needs best.
4. Once you are done downloading the package from the internet, you now have to transfer the file and save it to the internal memory of your phone, or whichever device you want to install the Gapps on. You can do this by connecting your phone to your computer the normal way.
5. Once the files have been saved in the phone’s internal memory, you now have to boot your phone into TWRP or CWM retrieval mode.
6. When this is done, you thenhave to go to the TWRP or CWM menu and tap on the “Install” button. Then you have to select the Gapps.zip file which you saved on the device earlier, along with all the available ROM files.
7. Once you have selected the Zip files, you will get an option stating, “Swipe to Confirm Flash” which will appear at the bottom part of the screen. This will allow you to start the installation of the Gapps files on your device. However, it might take some time to complete the whole process.
8. Once installation is done, reboot your device to start using the apps.
