Last most, FG persuaded telecom and cable tv companies to reduce subscription cost and gift subscribers freebies to show support during this lock-down period. While we haven’t seen any positive changes from either firm, the Grandmaster of data, Glo has introduced Stay Home Data Plan for its subscriber.
Glo recently introduced a 1GB for N200 Sunday’s data plan, it can be activated in the midnight and weekend data section on USSD request. I’m not sure the idea behind the Sunday’s data plans but I’m pretty sure subscribers aren’t looking for such data deal, not in 2020.
Now, back to the Glo Stay Home Data Plan.
Don’t get too excited already, the Stay Home data plan is not an entirely new data plan, it is a data plan Glo already offers for it subscribers, and has now decided to give users 20% extra data when they renew or buy a data plan.
How Does Glo Stay Home Data Plan Works?
The percentage of data bonus user will enjoy simply depends on the amount of data he/she subscribes for. Let’s say you buy a data plan worth N20,000 which should normally give you 115GB, it will attract 20% more data and you’ll have a total of 138GB.
You get an additional 23GB data.
The 20% applies to all Glo data packages from the lowest to the highest.
How To Activate Glo Stay Home Data Plan
To activate Glo stay home plan, all you need to do is dial the USSD *777# and from the data plan menu, select any the plan of choice. you can also buy your data from Glo’s official website.
We all know we need cheap data plans from all telecom companies during this period, at least to kill the boredoms and boost productivity at the same time, but I don’t think the Glo Stay Home Data plan is what Nigerians want. The Glo 7GB weekly plan is till reasonable, you should check it out.
