How to flash PhilZ touch recovery
and root Tecno Y3
- Download SPflash tool or any flashing tool of your choice. If already have then skip this step.
- Download PhilZ touch recovery for Tecno y3
- Run your spflash tool, and select scatter loading.
- You’ll get a popup window to browse your scatter file.
- Browse to where you have your Tecno y3 scatter file and recovery extracted and select it.
- Now, click download
- Power off your device and connect to your PC via USB cable
- Once flashing is done disconnect device from PC
- Boot into recovery using the power button + volume up key simultaneously
- Now you should have a full working PhilZ touch recovery on your device.
