What phone has you been quietly anticipating since the previous year? If you want all of the best buys, high-end, mainstream devices, this list is meant for you. I will be compiling a list of unavoidable phones you should lash onto when released. Ranging from the Samsungs of this world, Huawei which is still the second highest selling mobile brand in the world, and to the LG, OnePlus and so on.
Top SmartPhones In 2019 Should Either Be 5G Enabled And / Or A Foldable Device
For all that it’s worth, 5G and Foldables phones will be the hot cake in 2019. Even though we have in-display fingerprint, new notch designs and artificial intelligence on the rise, it is perfectly normal to see competitive processors, battery life, camera quality accompany these phones also. But at the end of the day, the 5G devices, as well as the foldable, will be the loudest, biggest and consequently the most expensive. Thankfully, it is not a ‘loudest wins all’ case. So you still have other options to pick from. Starting with:
NOKIA: Nokia 9 Pureview
You may say Nokia has not had a strong device in the Android set up since it came on board or better still, it has not had a ground shaking phone released yet. There’s an element of truth in that. But think about a device rumored with an SD845 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and with a 5 lens camera. How can this not be a big one? That is the Nokia 9. Nokia 9 is expected to be released any moment from now. Don’t miss it.
Samsung: Galaxy S10/ Note X
These are the devices that are believed to be the Messiah of the 5G network. Samsung Galaxy S10 or whatever they choose to call it at the end of the day is the successor of Galaxy S9. Although the launch of these devices might still be as far as the second half of the year, it is always worth the wait being Samsung’s annual flagship release. The company enjoys the service of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips and it is almost a certainty that the newly unveiled SD855 chip will be on Samsung’s next flagship. The chip is suited for on-screen fingerprint security as well as 5G network. Both features are features we have been looking forward to in Samsung’s upcoming devices.
Huawei: Huawei P30 Pro
As far as I am concerned, Huawei devices top my personal list of phones to expect in 2019. I am so carried away by the brand and all their beautiful craft. I know the Samsung’s and iPhones of this world are devices that we can’t overlook but it is a beautiful thing to see another brand match up against them. Huawei has also had success in the market is the second largest brand according to sales, displacing Apple’s iPhone and only second to Samsung. More affordable and give up to or even more than what iPhones offers.
We expect them to even build upon wonderful previous releases like Huawei P series, Honor, Huawei Mate Series, and even the Nova. I still can’t get over the beauty of the Huawei Nova 4 🙈. It is unconfirmed that the P30 pro will use a Sony lens to deliver up to 38MP pictures. And we also expect a shorter delay when it takes night photos. But expect something massive with Huawei P30 Pro
LG: LG G7 and G7 plus
So, we expect to see a device with 64 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM, 16MP dual rear camera, 12MP front-facing camera. The screen is up to 6.4 inches and an octa-core processor. All this will be packaged in one device called LG G7. Doesn’t sound like the specs of the usual high-end devices, but it’s big quality too. LG G7 and its predecessors are branded mid-range and this also reflects perfectly on its price. Launch price should be roughly 3X lesser than the Samsung Galaxy S9. And this one’s for lover’s of big quality, a lesser price which I am one of them.
OnePlus: OnePlus 7
OnePlus teased her device at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 unveiling last month. If things go according to what we are thinking, the device will ship with the flagship processor. OnePlus 7 launching with snapdragon 855 should mean that it will have the 5G network on standby, in-display fingerprint sensor too. A notch display and others shouldn’t be left behind. As a SoC processor, the device will come with the SD855 Specification. That means an octa-core processor. Whatever OnePlus 7 will be, it has to be an upgrade on the OnePlus 6. OnePlus 6 has a 64/128/256 GB variants 6/8 GB RAM respectively. We expect OnePlus 7 to come out of the box with Android’s latest O.S ( 9.0 Pie ).
Google: Pixel 4 and 4 XL
There wouldn’t be fairness if we decide not to talk about Google’s own pixel. Google’s device has found a way to keep itself relevant in the mobile phone conversation year in year out. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, an Adreno 630 GPU, 4GB RAM, and a 3,430 mAh battery was what they gave us last time out. That’s premium enough and we expect the successor, probably the Pixel 4 and 4 XL to come with SD 855 and maybe an improved battery (4,000mAh or more). Pixel had so many positive reviews in the previous year, it will probably do well again.
Apple: iPhone 11/XI
There is no way iPhones would have missed out on this list just in case you were wondering. For all our iPhone faithful, we expect to see flagships from the ‘acclaimed’ masters of security. The company released 3 iPhones to global users and it seems that a lot of is has opted for the stripped down version rather than the iPhone XS. Probably due to the exorbitant price. While some will even argue that XS is not worth it, iPhone XC provides a reasonable option and has done well in terms of sales. Truth be told, iPhone releases have been really basic and even the so much embraced iPhone XC is built on a hexacore processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. Although all versions came with the notch, there was an option for dual SIM users this time ‘e-sim’ but only on the expensive iPhone XS.
Tecno, Infinix And Other 2019 Expected Releases
There are other devices that catch the hearts of phone users, some even have a very competitive price like a number of Infinix, Tecno, Lenovo, and the likes even though they don’t make it to our list today. Many will like to see successors for Tecno Camon 11 or the Infinix Note 5 but the problem is; they may not have audiences as wide as other devices above. They are almost always mid-range or low-range which doesn’t go too well with everyone. They are more focused on some regions and may not produce top devices enough. So get ready and save the date for your favorite phones release.
