WhatsApp is undoubtedly the most widely used Messaging app and it keeps getting better by the day. This past few months the company has released a number of interesting update and while users still yawns to see dark mode, WhatsApp has decided to add the long awaited Sticker feature in its app.
WhatsApp announced in an official blog post that it’ll be rolling out Stickers feature for Android and iOS users in its latest update. This new feature is already available for beta testers and will reach the standard version in the next update.
The Stickers are being created by WhatsApp designers along with a few selection from other artist and you have to first download the sticker pack you want before you can use it, just like Facebook’s Stickers.
Although Stickers pack for WhatsApp include static sticks only, animated stickers will be available after a while. Also, you also have stickers category and a search option to search to stickers from a specific category.
Currently, there are just 12 Stickers packs being rolled out, including Cuppy by Minseung Song, Salty by Alisa Kryzhanovska, and Komo by Sanat Rath.
To use Sticker, simply open up your input field and tap the Stickers icon right next to the gif icon, then you’ll get WhatsApp Store, where you can select Stickers Packs you want to download. However, WhatsApp has also added support for third party Stickers, so, if you find any Stickers pack published on Playstore, you can as well use them.
All Stickers Packs are completely free! to use and WhatsApp has even made it interesting by letting anyone create and publish sticker packs in Playstore. See full guide on how to create WhatsApp Stickers.
