According to latest reports, Swiss store Digitech accidentally revealed all the features, specs, price and availability of the next awaited Xiaomi smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi A2. The website lists the Xiaomi Mi A2 in Black, Blue, and Gold colour variants.

According to the report, the Mi A2 will have 5.99-inch FHD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display frame is said to follow the industries trend but the Mi A2 will get thinner than what has been seen in previous models.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 will be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor, which is more powerful than the Snapdragon 625 of its predecessor. The device will come in three storage variants: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Also, the device will have 6GB of RAM and battery capacity of 3010mAh.
Mi A2 bags a dual camera setup in the photographic section, consisting of a sensor of twelve megapixels and another of 20 megapixels. Both camera modules have lenses with an aperture of f/1.8, thereby improving the performance in adverse light conditions. On the front camera, there is also a 20 megapixel.

Other cool but less relevant connectivity and features include 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, QuickCharge system, USB type C port, a fingerprint reader and a microSD card slot.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 base configuration is similar to that of Xiaomi Mi 6X, which the company has already introduced for the Chinese market. However, the only difference between the two devices is the new adaptation in the operating system. Mi A2 will be an Android One product promising an experience closer to the Google Pixel, which means you’ll not be seeing the company’s popular custom ROM on the device, MIUI custom ROM.
Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced the Mi A2, but according to the leak, sales are expected to start on August 8th. Also, the device official presentation should take place throughout the month of July.
The price of Xiaomi Mi A2 is said to be about RS.20,000 (Approx ₦105,600), according to the store.
