How to install TWRP 3.2.3-0 custom recovery for Infinix Hot 6

Flashing TWRP on your Hot 6 device requires bootloader unlock. Unlocking your bootloader will simply wipe every data on your device, so, make sure you take a backup of all your important files before going through with the process.

Unlocking Bootloader

1. Go to your device settings and scroll down to find about phone
2. In the about phone list, scroll down to locate your device build number
3. Continue tapping on the buid number until you see you’re now a developer
4. Now go back to the settings menu, you should now see developer options
5. Open developer option and enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging
6. Once done, open up your fastboot and adb tool
7. Type adb devices to verify that your device is properly connected, you’ll get a prompt on screen, grant access.
8. Now reboot to bootloader using adb reboot bootloader
9. Once your device boot to fastboot mode
10. Enter the command fastboot oem unlock
11. You’ll get a prompt on your device screen to allow bootloader unlock, using the volume keys, choose yes.
12. A process will begin on your device screen and once unlocking bootloader is complete you’ll see an ok
13. Reboot your device with fastboot reboot and wait for it to boot up
14. That’s is you’ve successfully unlocked your device bootloader

Flashing the recovery

1. Download the latest TWRP recovery for Infinix Hot 6 from the link below.
2. Copy the downloaded file to your PC and extract to a folder.
3. Make sure you have ADB and Fastboot tool installed on your PC
4. Copy the recovery file to the ADB and fastboot folder
5. Now, launch adb and fastboot tool from your desktop
